| The Thai Classical Dance-Drama dolls are inspired by characters in a Khon (Masked Play) performance which is an episode in the Ramakien, based on the Ramayana of Valmiki. The chief characters are Rama, the hero; Sida, the heroine; Thosaganth, the demon king; and Hanuman, the white monkey general. |
